Pharmacists' Goshawks

I know (of) only two pharmacists. Both are retired and have reported to me that they have observed resident Northern goshawk where they live. The first was at Point Loma, San Diego and the second was on his property in Anacortes, Washington.

I was taking my garbage to the sidewalk, and my neighbor directly across the street was doing the same, as I looked up and remarked, "We stink alike".

Helicopter rescue of hiker- Washington

About the helicopter rescue of the "hiker" on the very steep mountain side. There is something wrong with this picture! My first impression is- how did he get there? what is his name? where is he from? he does not seem to be a climber. And there are more questions- some of which are- who initially found him, and called in a report? I will be on this subject until I get some satisfactory answers.

Female basketball coaches

What is it with these college female basketball coaches? Are they trying to "out-heel" one another? Question? Should spikes be allowed on the basketball court. I say - NO. However if spikes do not cause damage to the court, then it should not matter. But, good logic would say, if it did damage, then why is it permitted? Which brings to a thought process; how many female professional sport's players wear heels; and how often compared the average young female worker?

Grandview Cemetery - Anacortes

I was in Grandview Cemetery- When I bumped into the ground's keeper. He told me of observing a perched Sharpie over there, and on another day a Sharpie was perched over there. I was surprised that he used the term Sharpie and not Sharp-shinned hawk or a possible Sharp-shinned hawk. The  the word I dropped on him was goshawks; stating that Northern goshawks are in the area, and he seemed excited to hear of it. Then I clarified the situation by stating: You will probably not observe one perched, but will observe them soaring at about 150-200 feet elevation, and sometimes ripping through the sky, and I have known of this condition for 15 years. These are not Cooper's hawks, as Cooper's do not have an affinity for the sky. The man did seem to favor my comments.

NHL- Stanley Cup

Well, I was correct. I predicted that the Kings would win in 4 games. If not 4 then 5 games. The championship was very lop sided. During two of the games I turned off the T.V., in disgust. So next year it will probably be the Kings or the Black Hawks in the S- Cup game.

Foxx News

Do you ever watch Fox News- that show "The Five"? I have tried and tried to watch it but I just cannot handle it. I call the show "Suspenders in the Middle- Slut on the End."


Three or four times a day while watching television, I say to myself- I will flip it to the whore show. That's Fox News.
